A Glimpse At The Place-Protecting Laser Brother HL-3040CN Printer
For a small office, it's important that available space is used in the right manner. Small office equipment is suited for installation like the Brother HL-3040CN printer. Everyday documents - reports, presentations, brochures, etc. - are churned out with professional quality because of the digital color LED technology within it with Brother HL-3040CN toner.
It can be hooked up to a single computer via the built-in, hi-speed USB 2.0 dock. Being network-ready, it may be integrated into a local area network hassle-free. That's because it has a fitted 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet port so it can be shared by several different computers and use Brother HL Series printer toner cartridge.
Because the NEC VR5500 processor has a speed of 300MHz, as many as 17 color and monochrome printouts can be produced per minute. Waste no time in waiting as the first color page takes only 16 seconds to be ejected. For a monochrome task, that's equivalent to 15 seconds. In this day and age, a fast-working office tool is very essential. In handling everyday printing jobs, there's the standard 32MB memory around. This may be expanded to as high as 512MB because there's a DIMM (144-pin) slot available. Other memory sizes compatible include 256MB, 128MB and 64MB.
The 250-sheet paper tray may be adjusted so it can work on media sizes including A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, letter, legal and executive. There's also a manual feed slot which can work with those sizes as well as custom ones (from 3 inches x 4.57 inches to 8.5 inches x 14 inches. This manual feed slot is ideal for use with thick media like envelopes since it uses a more convenient straight-through paper path.
Media types the machine can work with are bond paper, regular paper, recycled paper, card, labels, transparencies, envelopes and others suited for a laser machine. It employs an optical resolution of up to 600 x 2400 dots per inch. With such, texts end up crisp and images well detailed. The manufacturer sets the monthly duty cycle at 25000 pages.
The purchase already includes a set of starter toner cartridges. Each of them - black, magenta, yellow and cyan - is capable of yielding approximately 1000 pages. Likewise, it also comes with a DR210CL drum unit set to yield up to 15000 pages. Replacing consumables shouldn't put your productivity to a halt. Thanks to the highly convenient top-loading design, replacing worn out toner cartridges is a snap.
Allowing for reduced cost per printed page, the LED technology is employed. Sticking to a certain budget is easier as there's a Toner Save mode. Switch this on and you get to stretch your budget effectively. What's more, it also meets ENERGY STAR requirements so keeping your monthly electric bills to a minimum is a possibility. Power consumption when on sleep mode is only 8 watts. It uses 70 watts when ready and 480 watts when printing.
The body of the Brother HL-3040CN printer with Brother HL-3040CN cartridges, has a dimension of 16.1 inches (width) x 18.3 inches (depth) x 9.8 inches (height). Easily accessible are the well-organized buttons, accompanied by a one-liner LCD screen that makes operating the machine simpler while using Brother HL Series ink and toner. The clean and stylish design it has makes it go well with the pieces of furniture already in the area. A small office requiring high-impact everyday documents is the perfect place for this incredible printer while using toner refills.

James E. Alexander, 98, of Ligonier, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, in Excela
Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1913, in Zanesville, Ohio, a son
of the late James and Nellie Hunter Alexander. Mr. Alexander graduated from
Washington and Jefferson College in 1935 with BAs in philosophy and
mathematics. He borrowed $200 from an uncle, which he used for passage to
Europe, where he hitchhiked for four months, traveling as far east as
Czechoslovakia. After returning, he worked at the Pittsburgh Press. He paid
back the loan; promptly borrowed it again, and traveled to New Zealand, where
he spent six months working as a sheep herder and adventurer. On New Year's
Day, 1939, in Wellington Harbor, he signed on as a crew member, one of seven,
on the ketch Vanora, captained by Mirian Hart, and sailed, without engine
power or radio, across the South Pacific, down the coast of Chile, through the
Straits of Magellan, and up to New York. He wrote a book about the trip, "The
Strait Way Home." He then founded the Zanesville News, which had the first
Extra on the streets about Pearl Harbor. He worked at several ...
