Laminating is this necessary?!?

Okay so i have a whole bunch of Scotch Self-Sealing Laminating pouches and i was wondering if i should laminate the newspapers and articles that i plan to stick in my scrapbook? Or if i should not laminate anything and just stick them in the scrapbook. The scrapbook has page protectors so i don't know if it is necessary to laminate. Sorry im new at this whole scrapbooking idea and would just like some advice. Thanks

No, you don't have to laminate them. The best thing to do with newspaper articles is to copy them on a color copier and use that instead of the actually newsprint, which fades and deteriorates. If you don't care about that, mount them on white paper first leaving a little border around the edges. That will help you be able to read the words a little better, and make it less likely to tear. I've gotten 3 different laminating tools as gifts and have never used any of them.
