I have Intel Dual Core Processor 3Ghz x2 with 2 GB Ram , 160 Gb HD , 256 Mb Nvidia Ge Force 7250 card. Still my PC somewhat hangs , i use many vsts .
I was opening my previously made projects in FL , i found that this project consumed 89% CPU and 900 MB Ram as shown by FL Studio. Hence i hear distorted music in Fl Studio. Even certain Instruments have red color near activity meter.
Almost my all previously made projects sound distorted as if Pc hangs and then run , hangs , runs .
I compose music how can use my pc to compose music on Fruit y Loops 8.0 , is there any software which opens flp project files and required less clock speed.
I use vsts like Slayer 2, Applied Acoustics Vsts , Extreme Punch, Pianissimo, Cakewalk Vsts , Pentagon , Audio Realism etc.

Well, first off, you are running some CPU-intensive VSTs. Even with a nice processor, you're still butting up against (just) 2 Gigs of Ram, which means Windows may be digging into the page file to try and satisfy some of the memory demands.... which hoses your speed, resulting in slower performance and glitched audio.
There are only two real ways to approach this - minimize FL's memory/CPU usage and optimize your system for running FL.
Minimizing FL CPU usage might involve rendering tracks offline or using other, less CPU intensive, VSTi's. Some VST's and VSTi's are real system hogs, and there's no way around that - either use a multitracker with less overhead, or use different VSTi's.
However, I'm betting that you probably haven't worked enough on optimizing your system performance. This is especially true if you are using that unholy abomination POS operating system they call Vista (I'm a big fan, can't you tell?).
Especially with Vista, you need to disable all those extra graphic options - if you can find the Graphic Option setting thingy to optimize display settings for performance, you want to click on that, for instance. Disable Aero, disable themes, disable that annoying security feature that asks you if you really want to access this or that (oh good lord, that was gone within two hours of booting up my laptop the first time). Make your page file a fixed size. Turn off auto-defrag.
Probably one of the most important - turn off your anti-virus, especially if its Norton or McAffee. Obviously you might want to consider disconnecting from the internet before you do that. Disconnect anyways - its one less thing your computer can do other than running FL.
Google "optimize vista performance" or "optimizing windows performance", ie for whatever one you're running. Pretty much ignoring anything Microsoft has to do is probably the best way to go.
There are many drivers that are running that don't need to be. For instance, Windows preloads the driver that can accept Tablet PC interfaces. If you don't have a Tablet PC, you don't need it.
Unfortunately, I'm forgetting where that really useful guide to what devices aren't necessary is.... might have to spend some time with Google on that one, sorry....
One of the more useful utilities I've found is DPC Latency, it checks to see what your system performance is when you don't have programs actively running. Basically, it should always show green - if it isn't, you've got something running that is messing with your real-time streams, ie video and audio... and that would be whatever is causing your drop-outs.
Something else that can come in handy is using low-level drivers, ie ASIO. More for use with interfaces and things like that, but you might be able to find ASIO drivers for your sound card. If not, try downloading ASIO4ALL and using that as your audio driver within FL... it might end up being faster, might not.
There are lots more ways to optimize your system, most of them you can find with some time spent on Google. Honestly, I spent close to 40 hours of researching optimizing and performance tweaks before I was moderately happy with my laptop's performance for audio!
