This review looks into the performance of the Lexmark Optra T644 printer with Optra T644 printer toner cartridge. The media feeders are composed of a large auto load tray of 500 sheets and a smaller 100 sheet multipurpose tray. This might be a little small for a workgroup or office, but it is not an issue because you can easily order an extra tray to handle your specific requirements.
Built in networking in the basic model is not amazing. It is composed of a USB and a parallel port. However, as mentioned above, this can be expanded on. Surprisingly there is an only one expansion slot, but this should not be an issue considering the number of additional accessories that can be attached to it.
One of the better features of the printer is its networking capabilities, unfortunately its networking connections are not in the same league. You will have to invest a bit more to get the built in networking capabilities. The Lexmark Optra T644 printer is a good idea for companies looking for speed, good networking features and a price tag designed for a tight budget. Also, have extra Lexmark Optra printer toners in the office, you would not want to run out.
