Choosing The Right Photocopier For Your Business
A business without essential office equipment such as photocopiers are like a light without an on button: it is bound do get dark in there. Any business owner will tell you that digital and virtual communication has now taken over and things like fax machines, scanners, desktop computers and telephones area must-have for any business. It is the new medium we use to communicate with each other.
There are so many different types of copiers available that it makes it nearly impossible to choose the right one for you. You do not want to buy office equipment with unnecessary features you will never use; you are wasting valuable money. But you also do not want to end up buying equipment that does not meet your requirements and falls short of features when you need it most. The best thing to do is to shop around on the internet for the best features at the lowest possible rate.
It is fairly easy to find information on the different types of photocopiers available. The internet, for one, is a very useful source of information. Online product guides and copier comparisons will help you search for the right office equipment. You can also request free online quotes and so compare prices on different types and models. The internet will give you a guideline and lay out a platform for you to start on, however, it will not tell you exactly what you must and need to buy and what is most suitable for your office.
There are mainly 3 different types of copiers available: Multifunctional or all-in-one copiers, network copiers, and digital copiers. Multifunctional or all-in-one copiers can have three or four different functions all built into one machine. It can function as a scanner, copier, fax machine and network printer. For small to medium sized companies, this machine would be ideal: It takes up less space than 3 or 4 different machines would, and it saves you time and money. Network copiers are probably the most common amongst the three and are mostly used by larger companies, like corporate companies. Each employee's desktop computer is linked up with the copier so that they can scan, print and fax straight from there desks. This reduces office traffic and excessive handling of the copier. Digital copiers are quickly becoming the favourite: they usually have extra or advanced features to meet the company's unique printing needs. This copier will be suitable for companies where colour printing is essential.
There are a lot of aspects to consider when choosing photocopiers. Our company, for instance, has an all-in-one network copier. Because of the fast paced environment we work in, we need to be able to print, copy, scan or fax whenever we need to, without hassles and printing problems. Our company also needs to be able to print designs onto A3 sized paper, so we had this feature added to our copier.
Every company has different needs when it comes to printing and copying and these requirements need to be considered when purchasing any office equipment, so choose wisely!
I'm having trouble with my HP PSC 1500. It works as a printer and a copier but I can't get it to scan.
It has worked before but one day all the programs that were installed with it off the CD started malfunctioning and the scanner wouldn't work. I can still print and copy though. I don't know what it is. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still won't work. Please help.
Actually it says that it's an HP PSC 500 but I'm pretty sure it's 1500. I don't know what's going on with this.
try going to the best buy "GEEK SQUAD" they fix computers, printer, and other electrics. I got my printer fixed and running like new.
HP at Macworld iWorld 2012 (TUAW)
For the past three years, I've had the pleasure to meet with HP at Macworld to
find out what new Apple-centric products the company has produced. This year
afforded another opportunity for HP to showcase their products, and I've put
together a booth tour video with many of the highlights. If you can't make it
to Macworld | iWorld 2012, I hope you'll enjoy this visit with the fantastic
HP team.
Among the products you'll see in the video are the new HP LaserJet Pro 400
color M451 printer, an excellent device for small to medium businesses and
home offices. There's also the HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP (multi-function
printer) M375, an "all-in-one" printer/scanner/ copier/fax, and the faster HP
LaserJet Pro 400 color MFP M475 printer. All of these devices are iOS
compatible, using AirPrint for fast wireless discovery and printing.
Have you ever tried to scan a three-dimensional object on a flatbed scanner?
It doesn't work. That's why HP has introduced the TopShot LaserJet Pro M275, a
surprisingly affordable color laser printer with a unique 3D scanner.
HP has brought their top Apple support personnel to this year's event, and
you'll meet two of ...
