Magnets To Go Well With Every Need

Alnico is a commonly used stock magnet, which is also called a permanent magnet. Permanent magnets, like alnico, are known for keeping their magnetic properties for a long period of time. Alnico magnets have excellent temperature stability and can perform in high temperatures. Industrial and manufacturing industries use alnico magnets, which can be used in high temperatures of 425 - 525 degrees Celsius. Alnico is an economical magnet that can be produced using small custom-ground batches, which means that it is a magnet that is quite affordable to have customized if the current stock sizes or strengths that are available to you don`t meet your requirements. The benefits to using alnico magnets are great and include their strength, affordability, resistance to extremely high temperatures and the fact that they maintain their magnet qualities for long periods of time. Alnico magnets are great choices for a number of purposes including industrial or consumer applications. Read My Large magnet. Ceramic and iron oxide are usually the base materials for ceramic ferrite magnets. Ceramic magnets are made by pressing and sintering magnetic powders and ceramic. Sintering is used when manufacturing magnets and it heats two main materials to a point when they stick together. Ferrite magnets are described as being hard and brittle. The two main types of ceramic ferrite magnets are known as soft ferrites and hard ferrites, however the terms ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ in these names are misleading. The terms hard and soft ferrite are misleading because the difference between these two magnets does not lie in the density of the material but instead in the intensity of the magnetic field. Hard ferrite magnets need a stronger, more intensive magnetic field to demagnetize . The unique quality of a ceramic magnet is that it can be applied to flexible fabrics, which makes them great for crafts, decorations and use in home, school or work. Ceramic ferrite magnets can be used in many different applications and for numerous uses. Visit these site about bar magnet. Neodymium, a chemical element with the symbol Nd and atomic number 60 is used to create the neodymium magnet, a rare earth magnet. Present in the ore minerals monazite and bastnasite, neodymium is a silvery, soft metal that easily tarnishes. Their performance in extreme conditions and strength make neodymium magnets preferred in some applications. It is the magnetic material of choice when maximum energy is required and can be used in maximum service temperatures of 125° to 150° C. Neodymium are preferred over ferrite or alnico magnets in certain applications because they are much stronger. The advantages to using neodymium magnets and other products made from neodymium are numerous. Despite the many pros to neodymium magnets, such as its popularity, affordability, strength and ability to perform in cold temperatures it also has some negatives. Neodymium can lose its magnetism in environments where the temperature is too hot because it has a lower Curie temperature than other rare earth magnets like samarium-cobalt. Neodymium performs extremely well in very cold temperatures. The only other drawback to using neodymium lies in its durability. Since it is less resistant to oxidation than samarium-cobalt, it needs to have surface treatments applied to protect it from scratching. Neodymium is a brittle magnet, which can form cracks and is vulnerable to corrosion. Therefore, manufacturers will apply a surface treatment such as gold, nickel, zinc or tin plating or coating as a protective measure. The problem of oxidation of neodymium magnets can be minimized by applying a plating or coating..Magnet are Important in our lives. High energy strip magnets are a powerful type of flexible magnetic strip. A high energy strip magnet has a nitrile rubber base which makes it more resistant to oils and acid. Magnet energy refers to the stored energy in a magnet, and is often measured in MGOe (megagaussoersteds). Available in 1.1 - 1.6 MGOe, high energy strip magnets are more powerful than normal flexible magnetic strips. Magnetic strips have adhesive backing, are often laminated and come in many different shapes and sizes. Flexible magnetic strips will stick to any ferrous surface, can be cut to size, are available in many sizes and shapes and are ideal for laminating and punching. Magnetic tape can be used for many uses in the office, at work, at school or in your home. Magnetic tape is really useful - on the front is an adhesive face and the back has a magnetic face. Since magnetic tape is so versatile, affordable, flexible and thin it can be used for many different applications.

Block magnets are available in many different thicknesses, widths and sizes although they are generally rectangular in shape. Most people who think of a magnet think of a block magnet because it is such a popular choice in many different settings, it is not only affordable but also versatile. Block magnets are useful in a number of different environments, including for industrial, educational, recreational, decorative and therapeutic uses. Block magnets are very customizable and are surprisingly affordable and easy to customize for your specific need. Most magnet manufacturers carry a large variety of magnets in stock, but if they don’t have the type, size or shape you need they can easily make you exactly what you need quite affordably. It doesn't take long or cost a lot of money to have a magnet manufacturer customize a magnet for you..

Will this work out for my save-the-dates?

I'm going to get really cute save-the-date post cards from 123print.com (100 of them for $20!) They will have our picture on them, etc...

I originally wanted to do the magnets, but it was literally going to cost more than my invitations + RSVP's!! Crazyness.

SO... I'm going to put an adhesive business card sized magnet on the back of each post card. The magnets weigh .15ml each.
Do you think this weight is enough to keep the post card on someone's fridge? Like it won't weigh the post card down and keep it from properly sticking?

a business card sized magnet should be more than enough. I have pictures on my fridge that are held on there by MUCH smaller magnets.

Putting Students Where They’re Needed Most (Business opportunities)

According to The New York Times, big corporations step in to recruit some of
the top businesses students when they graduate. How can we expect small
business to keep up? A serial entrepreneur, Andrew Yang, thinks he has the
answer. Venture for America, a nonprofit he founded this summer, recruits
college seniors to spend two [...]
